Throughout Friday and Saturday several cars did either mandatory or practice push starts like Jack Jones in Bucky Austin's A/FD.

 

 

 

 

Nothing gets done where Cacklefest is concerned that Steve Gibbs doesn't oversee and/or coordinate. He observed all the pre-Cacklefest push starts.

 


 

Dave West has made a ritual of doing a burn out in his Beebe & Mulligan car sometime during the CHRR weekend.

 

After a traditional push start West made his way into the Famoso waterbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the 60' clocks the right tire was out growing the left.

Not to be outdone by West, Walt Stevens pushed down for a burnout in The Poachers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stevens, a crew member on the Top Fuel Champion High Speed Motorsports car enlisted its crew chief, Brett Johansen, to line him up.
